At Edward W. Nottingham, LLC., I bring more than 45 years of experience to clients throughout the Denver metro area. I am a former assistant U.S. attorney and served as a federal district judge from 1989 until 2008.

I have extensive knowledge of the litigation process, and can quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of your case. I can then help you determine if mediation or arbitration would provide a more cost-effective means of resolving the matter. I work primarily with other attorneys who are involved in litigation in the federal and Colorado state courts.

Arbitration

As an arbitrator, I have handled many types of disputes, including international arbitration proceedings. My experience as a federal judge has also prepared me to serve as an arbitrator, especially in claims concerning federal matters, as I presided over similar cases while on the bench. I have also served as an arbitrator on international disputes (ICSID and UNCITRAL).
