Sophisticated Experience With Federal Law
At Edward W. Nottingham, LLC., I bring more than 45 years of federal court experience to lawyers and clients throughout the Denver metro area. Before opening my current practice, I served as an assistant U.S. attorney and spent almost 20 court years as a Federal District Court judge.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding federal law and procedure. I can help you identify the strengths and weaknesses of your case and devise the most effective strategy to get the relief you seek. I can serve as a mediator, arbitrator, or special master.
Mediation And Arbitration
I focus my practice on federal court matters, providing consulting to other lawyers on federal cases, as well as mediation and arbitration of federal court claims.
In my mediation and arbitration practice, I serve as a third-party neutral, helping you save time and money resolving federal court claims. I handle a wide range of claims, from discrimination and wage complaints to allegations of violation of federal employment or labor laws.
I am available for appointment as a special master or hearing officer. I have also arbitrated international disputes.
Federal Litigation Counsel
As a consultant on federal court litigation, I can either enter an appearance and serve as co-counsel, or I can advise you without making an appearance. I can research and prepare briefs of law, help you build your arguments, and offer counsel throughout trial.
In nearly two decades on the federal bench, I presided over a broad range of civil and criminal matters, from employment disputes to intellectual property issues. I have the depth and breadth of knowledge and experience to help you put together the most effective case for your client.
